THE AMERICAS
The
Americas comprises two sub-regions – North America (including the USA and
Canada) and Latin America, which includes Mexico, Central America and
South America.
There are 16
countries that produce or have produced oil, condensate, natural gas
liquids and/or natural gas at recorded and measurable levels.
The USA is
by far the most significant, although Venezuela, (as a major exporter and
the only member of OPEC), Mexico, Canada and Brazil are all important producers.
