ENERGYFILES is the world’s only
comprehensive oil and gas production, consumption, and activity forecasting
service.
We
are pleased to announce that Datamonitor, a premium provider of business
information, has completed the acquisition of Energyfiles. Since I
founded Energyfiles in 2003 the company has expanded to provide oil and
gas production and activity forecasts to a global client base.
Datamonitor has recognised the potential that the Energyfiles databases
offer and regards this acquisition as a first step in the renewed
expansion of its Energy and Sustainability business.
Energyfiles will act as the strategic foundation to Datamonitor’s
world-class line-of-sight energy information business. I will continue
to be personally involved in Energyfiles, assisting Datamonitor in
developing its products over an extended period.

|
I also want to
take this opportunity to thank everyone working with both Energyfiles and
Datamonitor involved in closing this acquisition, many who will continue to work
towards successfully integrating the Energyfiles database into the comprehensive
Datamonitor service. I also would like to thank all Energyfiles clients, in
particular the special long term clients who I now regard as friends, that have
helped the company become successful. |
